Yes. Wireless sensors and door contacts connect to the panel by radio, so there’s no need to chase cables into plaster or tiles. They run on batteries that typically last a long time and warn you when they’re low. It’s the neatest option for finished apartments in Sea Point and Green Point.
Give each guest a temporary user code and delete it when they leave. With app control, you can also arm, disarm and see alarm activity from anywhere, which is useful when you’re not in Cape Town. We set up the codes and app during installation and show you how to manage them.
Yes. We connect the panel to a communicator so alarm signals reach your armed response company. Tell us which company you use, and we’ll coordinate with them and test that signals come through correctly before we leave, including panic and fence-zone signals if you have them.
They do, but they need the right housing and placement. Sealed outdoor detectors last much longer in salty air, and positioning them out of direct spray helps. A yearly service catches corrosion early, before it causes false alarms or leaves a gap in your cover.
