Yes, as long as the property has a stable internet connection. Hikvision and Dahua apps work anywhere. We set up the app, test remote viewing and make sure the recorder keeps footage long enough between your visits. If the internet is unreliable, we’ll advise on options before installing.
Smart detection uses the camera’s analytics to recognise people and vehicles, so baboons, dogs and porcupines don’t send alerts. Setting detection zones away from trees and roofs helps too. Most modern Hikvision and Dahua cameras support this, and we configure it during the installation.
Yes. Wired IP cameras connect to the recorder by cable, so they record even without Wi-Fi. You only need internet at the recorder for remote viewing. Where the connection is weak, we can suggest a router upgrade or alternative connection.
Yes. Cameras can record or alert you when an alarm zone is triggered, which makes it easy to see what set it off before calling armed response. We check your alarm panel and camera system on site and connect them where they’re compatible.
